The Best Talenti’s Gelato and Sorbetto

Talenti’s Gelato and Sorbetto are some of the best frozen deserts, around. They are sold in Lucky, Walmart Neighborhood Market, Target, Sprouts, Whole Food, Nob Hill, Safeway and other stores.

Talenti’s Gelato and Sorbetto has more than 40 flavors. While they are all delicious, it can be a little overwhelming to decide what buy, if you have not already picked your favorites. To solve this problem, I ran a few polls in some Mom’s Groups in the San Francisco Bay Area (Sunnyvale Moms and in SplitBunch groups (Split Bunch and SplitBunch for Moms). From that research, I have created a list of the most liked flavors (in order, starting from the most popular).

Here is the list of the best Talenti’s Gelato and Sorbetto:

1. PACIFIC COAST PISTACHIO GELATO (Previously called Sicilian Pistachio, they now use Pistachios from California, thus the name change). The most liked flavor.
2. SALTED CARAMEL TRUFFLE GELATO the second favorite flavor. It is also caramel lover’s top choice. Salted Caramel Truffle Gelato contains layer of our Sea Salt Caramel, a layer of chocolate cookies for a delicious crunch and a layer with dulce de leche, added vanilla, and finally finished with the fifth layer of chocolaty caramel truffles. 
3. MEDITERRANEAN MINT GELATO uses real mint leaves and bittersweet chocolate flecks throughout the pint. This one is also my husband’s favorite.
4. DOUBLE DARK CHOCOLATE GELATO is semisweet chocolate gelato and just a dash of vermouth.
5. CARIBBEAN COCONUT GELATO is not Caribbean but it is still the most delicious Coconut Gelato. Talenti sources the coconuts from the Philippines . This gelato contains fresh milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla that come together with tender coconut.
6. ALPHONSO MANGO SORBETTO is dairy-free and vegan. Alphonso mango sorbetto is made with the finest ripe mangoes from Maharashtra (India), pure sugar, and fresh lemon.
7. COFFEE CHOCOLATE CHIP GELATO made with Coffee sourced from Brazil and Colombia cooked into fresh milk and cream, with semisweet chocolate chips
8. CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CUP GELATO is a milk-chocolate gelato with peanut butter and mini peanut butter cups.
9. BELGIAN CHOCOLATE GELATO is made with melted, imported Belgian chocolate blended until smooth with fresh milk, cream, eggs and a hint of vanilla.
